All about the Santander SX

Get to know the replacement for Santander Free and find out if the Santander SX Card is the ideal credit card for you to manage your spending and enjoy the benefits

The Santander SX Card is an offer from Banco Santander, and has replaced the Santander Free card. The credit card was changed and redesigned precisely to modernise it and make it even more competitive against its competitors.

Designed to offer a range of benefits and functionalities to meet customers' diverse financial needs, it provides an advantageous, easy and convenient credit card experience.

One of the outstanding features of the Santander SX is the possibility of eliminating the card's annual fee. This means that by meeting certain requirements set by the bank, such as spending more than R$100 and registering CPF and mobile phone as the PIX key, users can get the annual fee waived.

In addition, the Santander SX Card stands out for the discounts it offers at a variety of partners, including Shell petrol stations, cinema tickets, hotel reservations and popular shops, providing customers with additional opportunities to save on their purchases.

Another advantage is the inclusion of additional benefits, such as free insurance, which offers customers an extra layer of protection during their financial transactions.

However, despite the many advantages, some negative points also deserve attention, such as the high rates on revolving credit and the mandatory minimum payment, which can be considered disadvantages for some customers.

Before deciding whether the Santander SX card is right for you and your financial situation, it's important to carefully analyse these details. Read on for more information.

Banco Santander x Santander SX

The Santander SX Card is an offer from Santander, one of the most established banking institutions in Brazil. It replaces the old Santander Free and brings with it an update that adds modernity and more benefits to the previous model.

Although it's offered by Banco Santander, you don't necessarily have to be a Santander account holder to have access to Santander SX. If your request is accepted, you can have your SX and manage it through the app developed by the bank itself.

Way app

To make card management easier, Santander has developed the Way app, a platform that allows users to control their cards and finances in a simple and secure way.

Through the Way app, users can monitor their spending, check their invoices, limits and passwords, as well as make payments, send and receive money, and enjoy all the main benefits offered by digital banking apps.

The Way app is available for both Android and iOS devices, providing a convenient experience for a wide range of users.
